2010. The Wolf Man : Semblants, Symptoms and Sinthomes Saturdays 9.30am - 1.00pm Venue: Australian Institute of International Affairs, Dyason House, 124 Jolimont Road, East Melbourne The theme of this year's monthly study days was obsessional neurosis. The study days combined a study of Freud's classic case of the Rat Man with Lacan's subsequent contribution to the study of obsessional neurosis. Wednesdays 7pm - 8.30pm Fortnightly seminar on Jacques Lacan, Seminar V, Formations of the Unconscious; Le seminaire, livre V, Formations de l?inconscient: a bilingual reading of the text. This is the most significant of Lacan's early seminars and an excellent introduction to the key concepts of Lacanian psychoanalysis.
